John Copson Pavilion officially opens at Rosmini College

Rosmini College have officially opened the John Copson Pavilion.

Named after Crown Group founder, John Copson, headmaster Tom Gerrard described the Pavilion as a "multi-purpose facility, being used as a teaching space by day and a social centre on the weekend."

The Pavilion over looks the 1st XV rugby field and provides changing rooms and function facilities.

Copson Holdings propose to gift land to community

The community is set to benefit from a Copson Holdings proposal to gift approximately 8000 square meters of central Birkenhead land to the Auckland Council. 

In a statement Copson Group spokesperson Chris Arbuckle said "this will be a great asset for the community and will assist in ensuring that the remaining bush land in central Birkenhead is maintained."

Copson Holdings announces the purchase of Hobsonville Road site

Viscount Investment Corporation Limited, part of Copson Holding's Crown Group, has secured a 4.3 hectare site at Hobsonville Point in North West Auckland.

The site is earmarked for development into a town centre providing retail and office accommodation as well as residential dwellings.

Crown Group leading the way in turning Takapuna around

Copson Holding's Crown Group has commenced construction of a multi-tenancy Restaurant Pavilion on Takapuna Beach.

What was once an 'ugly' car park will be transformed into a dining hub that encompasses restaurant and cafe tenancies and walkways connecting Hurstmere shopping to Takapuna beach swimming.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of February 2015.

Copson Holdings announces Educational Grant Program

Copson Holdings has launched an educational scholarship program for promising children who may need financial assistance to realise their potential.

In announcing the initiative John Copson observed “the sheer breath of talent, motivation and drive exhibited by some young people amazes me.”

Copson Holdings is pleased to announce an investment in Provident Insurance Corporation

Copson Holdings has taken a stake in Insurer, Provident Insurance Corporation Limited.

Commenting on the investment John Copson stated “it was great to support some of the founding team of Autosure New Zealand.”

Copson founded the Autosure New Zealand business in 1986 and subsequently sold the business to Vero Insurance in 2004.

Provident will be headed by Stephen Owens, a former General Manager of Autosure New Zealand and the head office is based in the Crown Centre in Takapuna Beach, Auckland.
